Wellington Activity Centre
The Wellington Activity Centre (WAC) was established over 21 years ago as an educational facility where secondary aged students get another chance to re-engage with education.
We take up to 20 students, studying the same curriculum as mainstream schools i.e. NCEA L1 for Y11 students.
Our aim is to support students to overcome their learning barriers and facilitate their return to mainstream schooling, further learning or the workplace. We have a good staff: student ratio and we work closely with schools.
